Hey Everyone,
Today I get to show off my super cool couple! Erica found me doing a regular web search, which is good to hear glad Google still loves me! *LOL*. The first thing I noticed when we met was how awesomely dressed this couple was; later I found out that Erica owns a high-end boutique in Hamilton! Sitting down and chatting with them I was so moved by their interaction with each other, how they touched and looked at one another, it was so sweet. From that alone I knew we were a perfect match! The E-session was a cold day but they managed to keep each other warm! *wink* See you guys soon!
p.s. Doesn’t Ryan look like a familiar celebrity? *wink*
Hey Gang,

Happy Monday!! I just love Mondays its a start of a new week, it doesn’t matter what happen last week. Today we get a new start! So up today we have Adam who happens to be a cousin of a few GK members. Adam is the cousin of Mike and Darren I got to meet Adam at Darren and Kristy’s wedding in Dominican. I really love destination weddings cause I get a whole week to party with everyone and get to know them and party we did! *wink* As you can tell by looking at Adam and Mike their are some genes in this family. See you at the next wedding, maybe yours? *wink*
Hey Gang,
Welcome to another PTF! Today I want to talk about ISO or what we use to call ASA “film speed”. ISO is the international standard used to denote film speed. You might ask why would I need to bump up my ISO? Maybe it’s because you don’t want to draw attention to yourself by using flash. Today’s DSLR cameras have ratings of up to 6400, just remember though the higher your ISO the more grain in your image. But Grain isn’t necessarily a bad thing it can add mood to a photograph. I’m not recommending that you shoot everything at 6400 ISO but go out play with it and have fun! The following images were shot between 1600-3200 ISO.

Hey Everyone,
Its been a couple of weeks since Phoenix and I’ve done a lot of thinking. I always believed that as photographers we have a gift of telling a story, maybe something as simple as a sibling’s comforting words or tears from a proud parent. We offer this to our couples in hopes that it’s these unique moments that will become cherished memories for generations to come. But beyond that I feel we also have a responsibility to document the joy in the celebration of the day, to promote it and maybe even inspire it in others.
I get asked all the time by my couples “what is your style?” but I never knew how to answer that. I think the turning point was In Phoenix when a mentor told me he could tell my images were shot from the heart. That he could see my passion for my work but more importantly my couples in each image.
The following video was sent to my from a close friend and I think it’s a beautiful reminder of the impact we can have on one another not just as photographers but as people.
