As most of you know I was in Phoenix last week for a kick a$$ workshop featuring some of the industry’s leaders. I get asked why do I go to these? Its pretty simple if you stop learning you stop growing. I owe to my couples but more importantly to myself to continually improve and change. CHANGE IS GOOD! The whole point of this ws was to get out of your comfort zone, I hope I achieve that. Let me know, Id love to hear what you think about!

I want to put a special thanks out to all the instructors, for sharing your passion and knowledge with me.

Hey Gang,

In yesterday’s post I mentioned I had a photo shoot last week but what I failed to mention is that I had TWO of them. Early this year I bumped into Lucy and her husband Carlos old high school friends at one of my weddings. They were commissioned to provide the floral design, everyone was SUPER impressed with their work! I was honored when they asked me to cover a commercial job for their company Para Ti floral boutique. I got to use my recently acquired 14-24mm F2.8 Lens, let me tell you for a wide angle lens this baby is sharp! Most of these images were shot at 2.8-3.2 with a mixture of available light and flash photography.

Hey Gang,
You remember my post last week of Amy and Nick’s E-session? During the post I introduced Amy my assistant who I have the pleasure of documenting her wedding later this year!! I met Amy a few years ago and she told me that she loved my work but what she didn’t tell me was that she was an aspiring photographer and a good one at that! I saw a few of her portraits and was really impressed but that’s not why she’s my assistant. As all my couples know we do our best in providing them with the ultimate experience when it comes to their wedding. We don’t just simply take pictures we capture moments; these moments are easily found when our couples are at ease with us. Amy posses the right attitude and passion, something every photographer needs. So here’s Amy!
