Hey Gang,
Happy Monday! I had a great weekend with the boyz at our first annual SnowBowl. I’m embarrassed to admit that my little point-shoot ran out of batteries and I have no evidence of our victorious triumph! *LOL* it was a blast and I will make sure I have a backup camera for next year! *wink*
Last week I posted all my gear I use at a wedding, this week I wanted to talk more about one of my favorite lenses the 70-200 2.8IS This baby is a must have for any photographer! The image quality rivals most prime lenses but you obviously get the benefits of a zoom. The IS designation stands for image stabilization, think of this as an internal thingamajig that counter balances the lens when you move ultimately allowing you to shoot at slower shutter speeds. As most of you know I’m no super techno junkie, I don’t really know the science behind it all I just love the images it produces. In particular the way it melts the background out of focus and making your subject jump of the photo! Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely! Here are some photos taken with this lens!
